McLean, VA – Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of E3 Federal Solutions, LLC, Cameron Hogan, is slated to speak at the 2016 American Council for Technology (ACT) Industry Advisory Council (IAC) Executive Leadership Conference (ELC). In addition to Mr. Hogan’s talk on Leaders Have to Change Their Thinking – Not Millennials, John Fitzgerald (Vice President) will be graduating from the 2016 Partners Program. Mr. Fitzgerald will be joining E3’s other ACT-IAC Partners, including Everett Johnson (CEO), Kathleen Sober (COO), Derry Goberdhansingh (Vice President), and Will Fortier (Senior Manager).
This year’s annual ELC will take place in Williamsburg, VA from October 23-26, 2016. The conference is a forum for both government and industry leaders to discuss how changes in technology affect the world, the United States, and the public service sector. ACT-IAC is a partnership between government and industry; it is dedicated to improving the exchange of information through the use of information technology. The organization works to improve government objectively and ethically through communication, collaboration, and education.
Throughout 2016, E3 employees at all levels have increased their involvement in several ACT-IAC programs and activities:
- Derry Goberdhansingh (Vice President): Vice Chair of the Executive Leadership Conference and was honored in 2015 with ACT-IAC’s Rookie of the Year Award
- Kieran (KC) McHargue (Senior Principal): Co-Lead on the ACT-IAC DATA Act Project and an active participant in the Financial Management, Information Sharing, and Shared Service Community of Interest (COI)
- Adrienne Gizicki (Principal): Active member of the Communications and Marketing Committee
- Dan Marks (Principal): Involved in ACT-IAC’s Acquisition COI
- Alex Porfirenko (Senior Associate): 2016 Voyagers Program graduate and participates in the Acquisition Transformation Team
- Amy Shaw (Senior Analyst): Graduate of the 2016 Associate Program
“We are excited to have Cameron at ELC this year,” said Derry Goberdhansingh, E3’s Vice President. “His presentation, Leaders Have to Change Their Thinking – Not Millennials, will highlight what is already working in public service and how it could be scaled up to other departments and agencies in 2017. This fits perfectly in the theme for the conference, #ChangeAgents: Delivering Results Differently and Better. Cameron will have the opportunity to propose to the next Administration and to OMB what he wants to do ‘differently and better’ in 2017.” Mr. Goberdhansingh continued by saying, “We are also very excited to have John Fitzgerald as one of the distinguished graduates from this years’ Partners program. He will join me and several others from E3 as a member of the ACT‑IAC Fellows, a distinguished group of leaders who are committed to working together to solve government’s biggest challenges.”
